ABOUT ME
General demographics:
I'm a 24-year-old male born and raised in Topeka, Kansas, currently residing in Columbia, Missouri where I attend the University of Missouri as a graduate student. Before Mizzou, I played baseball at Rockhurst University while completing a double major in Exercise Science and Physics of Medicine. I graduated from Rockhurst in 2019, and am set to graduate from the University of Missouri in May 2022 with my Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
I have two loving parents and three awesome siblings (two brothers and one sister), a wonderful fiance, and two incredible dogs.
When I'm not studying for school or working on my writing, I enjoy spending time with friends, exercising, playing music, or reading.
How I Got Here:
One sunny afternoon in April of 2020, an interesting story idea popped into my head while I was taking a walk through a local park in my hometown. When I got home, I opened a Word document to jot it down. I lost myself in the idea and continued writing, and before I knew it...it was 4 am. The time had flown by, and I had loved every second of it. I knew right then that I had found something special.

Where I'm At Now:
It took me over a full year to finish the first draft of my first novel, which is 173,000 words. The story had required many "do-overs" as I learned how to write, but I am very happy with it now. My second novel, which I am currently working on and will be about 80,000 words, has been a much quicker process. I've been able to write over 75% of it in a single month.

My Writing Goals:
My ultimate goal would be to have one of my stories get published. I have a dream of one day walking into a Barnes and Noble and picking up my book from one of the shelves.
Even if that day never comes, I'll be thankful that I began writing, because I genuinely love doing it.
